Cath Lab Technologist in Miami Beach, FL

Step into a dynamic environment where your expertise in the Cath Lab will make a meaningful impact on patient care. As a Cath Lab Tech, you'll function as part of a collaborative team, supporting a unit equipped with MacLab, GE, and Philips systems, and maintaining a patient ratio of 3:1. You’ll play a crucial role in procedures including cardiac catheterizations, structural heart interventions, peripherals, and electrophysiology cases. Documentation is managed seamlessly through Meditech, and the dress code includes provided OR scrubs for your comfort and professionalism.

Schedule/Hours:

• Day shift staffing; no night shifts required
• Evening and weekend call coverage as needed

Key Qualifications:

• Active certifications in ACLS and BLS
• Registered CVT or Radiology Technologist credentials
• Demonstrated ability to perform cath, coronary interventional, peripheral, and EP procedures
• Comfortable with digital documentation via Meditech
• Team-oriented approach, displaying critical thinking and adaptability in a fast-paced setting
• Compassionate caregiver who can work independently when needed
• Previous travel experience is a plus

Responsibilities:

• Assist with diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures
• Operate and monitor sophisticated imaging equipment
• Maintain accurate documentation and report pertinent findings via Meditech
• Support optimal patient outcomes by collaborating closely with physicians and interdisciplinary teams
• Adhere to safety, infection control, and procedural protocols throughout each case
• Participate in required evening and weekend call rotations

$2,178 - $2,304/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
