Cath Lab Technologist - Miami, FL

Advance your career in medical imaging by supporting a dynamic Cardiac Catheterization Lab in a large, well-equipped hospital. The department provides comprehensive diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures in a collaborative 33-bed unit, working alongside a skilled team of 23 professionals.

Schedule/Hours:

• Contract position
• Call requirements: evenings and weekends

Required Qualifications:

• Valid ACLS and BLS certifications
• Registered as a Cardiovascular Technologist (CVT) or Radiologic Technologist
• Solid experience in Cath Lab environments
• Proficiency with MacLab, GE, and Philips imaging systems
• Experience working with Meditech documentation system

Preferred Background and Skills:

• Strong team orientation and a compassionate approach to patient care
• Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced, high-acuity unit
• Demonstrated critical thinking and independent work abilities
• Previous travel/contract experience, a plus

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with diagnostic and interventional cardiac, structural heart, and peripheral vascular procedures, including electrophysiology studies
• Maintain quality patient monitoring and safety during procedures
• Accurately document all procedural details in Meditech
• Adhere to all established protocols and infection prevention standards
• Participate in on-call rotation during evenings and weekends as scheduled
• Wear provided OR scrubs per dress code requirements
