Schedule/Hours:

  • 7:00am – 5:30pm
  • Four 10-hour shifts per week
  • No block scheduling
  • On-call rotation: 1 night per week (5:00pm – 7:30am) and every fourth weekend (Friday 5:00pm – Monday 7:30am)

Role Overview: As a Cath Lab Tech, you’ll take an active role in a busy Level III Cardiac Cath Lab, supporting 10+ cases daily across three labs. This setting covers a wide range of patient care, including structural heart, peripheral vascular, ECMO, and Impella procedures. You’ll work closely with a highly skilled clinical team, taking your abilities further through direct involvement with both routine and complex interventions.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Scrub cases, operate imaging equipment for cardiac and vascular procedures
  • Calibrate, set up, and monitor equipment for cardiac electrophysiology studies
  • Prep patients, monitor devices, and collect diagnostic data during procedures
  • Ensure a safe, compliant radiologic environment for all lab activities
  • Accurately calculate and administer drug dosages
  • Maintain detailed, procedural billing and manage lab supplies
  • Support patient positioning and transport
  • Respond quickly and decisively in high-pressure situations

Key Qualifications:

  • Vocational/Technical degree (RCIS, Radiology Tech, or accredited Electrophysiology program)
  • Certification: ARRT required
  • 4-year/Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Experience in Cath Lab, including scrubbing and imaging
  • Strong interpersonal and analytical skills; able to interact compassionately with patients and medical teams
  • Proficient in ECG recognition and medication calculation
