Key Responsibilities:

• Operate specialized cath lab imaging equipment to assist physicians during cardiac catheterizations, angiograms, and related interventional procedures.
• Prepare and maintain a safe, sterile environment for patients and staff, adhering to standardized protocols.
• Monitor patient vital signs during procedures and promptly communicate any changes to the medical team.
• Document procedure details accurately and ensure imaging records are maintained with the highest confidentiality.
• Calibrate and troubleshoot imaging equipment; report malfunctions promptly.
• Provide compassionate patient care before, during, and after procedures, answering questions and explaining processes as needed.
• Collaborate with fellow technologists, nurses, and physicians, contributing to best practices and continuous quality improvement.

Desired Qualifications:

• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technologist or Cardiovascular Technology program.
• Current certification/registration as required by state and national standards (RCIS, ARRT, or equivalent).
• Prior experience in a cath lab environment, demonstrating proficiency in imaging technology and interventional cardiology procedures.
• Strong understanding of patient safety, radiation protection, and hospital protocols.
