Qualifications and Experience:

• Completion of an accredited program in Radiologic Technology or Cardiovascular Technology
• Current certification as a Cath Lab Technologist (RCIS, ARRT, or equivalent)
• State licensure, as required
• BLS and ACLS certification, or eligibility to obtain before start
• Previous experience in a Cath Lab setting, with proficiency in angiography, cardiac catheterization, and interventional procedures
• Strong knowledge of sterile technique, radiation safety, and equipment management
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team
• Adaptability to rapidly changing clinical situations and acuity levels

Responsibilities:

• Prepare the cath lab and related equipment for procedures, ensuring proper setup and functionality
• Assist physicians with diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures, including monitoring patient status
• Operate imaging and hemodynamic monitoring equipment, capturing quality images for diagnostic assessment
• Maintain accuracy in patient documentation and procedural records
• Adhere to infection control, safety standards, and quality improvement initiatives
• Support patient comfort and education throughout the procedure process
• Participate in emergency response protocols as needed within the department
