Schedule/Hours:
- 4x10 hour shifts: 7:00a-5:30p
- Or 5x8 hour shifts: 7:30a-4:00p as needed
- On-call: 1 weekday and 1 weekend every 4-6 weeks, including holidays
Professional growth is inevitable here as you collaborate with experienced teams in busy Diagnostic and Interventional Cardiac Cath Labs, plus exposure to special procedures and potential work in EP and Interventional Radiology. This is an ideal setting to diversify your resume, enhance your clinical skill set, and become proficient with advanced equipment such as Siemens and Cerner EMR systems.
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an approved School of Radiologic Technology
- 1.5-2 years of experience in Cardiac Cath Lab (travel experience required)
- Experience in Diagnostic Cardiac Cath, Interventional Cardiac Cath, and Special Procedures required
- ARRT (R), ACLS, and BCLS required; WV Medical Imaging License (can submit pending license, but must be in hand before start)
- Proficiency in cardiac and endovascular procedures; familiarity with Siemens equipment preferred
- Scrub, monitor, hemodynamic documentation, recognition of life-threatening arrhythmias
- Must be able to perform medium work (lifting up to 50 lbs)
Responsibilities:
- Assist in diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures
- Accurately monitor patients’ hemodynamic status
- Set up equipment, maintain a sterile field, ensure supply readiness
- Participate in call rotation (weekday/weekend/holidays)
- Maintain ongoing competency assessments and licensure
- Contribute to a collaborative and learning-focused environment
