Cath Lab Technologist - Mount Hope, WV

Step into a vital role supporting advanced patient care as a skilled Cath Lab Technologist. This contract opportunity focuses on providing high-quality imaging and technical assistance within a dynamic cardiac catheterization laboratory environment. You’ll work alongside cardiologists and other healthcare professionals to perform complex diagnostic and interventional procedures, ensuring patient safety and accurate results.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technologist or Cardiovascular Technology program
• Current ARRT or RCIS certification (or eligibility), with active state licensure as required
• Prior experience working as a Cath Lab Tech in an acute care or hospital setting
• Proficiency in utilizing imaging equipment such as fluoroscopy, angiography, and related devices
• Strong understanding of sterile technique, radiation safety, and cardiovascular anatomy
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work effectively in high-pressure situations and as part of a multidisciplinary team

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and operate imaging equipment for cardiac and peripheral vascular procedures
• Assist physicians with catheterization, stent placement, angioplasty, and other interventional procedures
• Monitor and document patient vital signs, procedure details, and imaging results
• Maintain a sterile field and ensure compliance with infection control protocols
• Review and prepare imaging studies for interpretation, ensuring clarity and diagnostic quality
• Conduct inventory management of supplies and equipment used within the Cath Lab
• Participate in on-call rotations and provide emergency assistance as required

$3,146 - $3,328/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
