Preferred Qualifications:
- Current certification as a Cath Lab Technologist (RCIS or equivalent)
- Previous experience working in a busy Cardiac Catheterization Lab environment
- Proficiency in operating and troubleshooting a range of imaging equipment and hemodynamic monitoring systems
- Strong understanding of cardiovascular anatomy and physiology
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, and ancillary staff
- Compliance with all safety, infection control, and hospital protocols
- BLS and ACLS certification required
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist physicians with diagnostic and interventional cardiac and peripheral vascular procedures
- Prepare and maintain the Cath Lab suite, ensuring sterilization and readiness of all instruments and equipment
- Accurately monitor and document patient vital signs throughout procedures
- Ensure patient comfort and safety before, during, and after procedures
- Maintain accurate records and participate in quality assurance activities
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of Cath Lab equipment
