An opportunity is available for a skilled Cath Lab Technologist with expertise in cardiac imaging to join a well-equipped cardiac catheterization unit in New Braunfels, TX. This contract position offers the chance to work in a dynamic hospital environment known for its patient-centered care and advanced cardiovascular services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform scrub assist duties during cardiac and electrophysiology diagnostic and interventional procedures.
  • Operate and document using the MacLab system for cardiac procedures.
  • Assist with vascular (peripheral) diagnostic and interventional procedures.
  • Collaborate with the clinical team to ensure high-quality patient care.
  • Adhere to hospital floating policies and maintain readiness to support related units as needed.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Minimum of 2 years hospital experience in a cardiac catheterization lab.
  • Proficiency in scrub assisting during cardiac and EP procedures.
  • Ability to utilize MacLab system for hemodynamic monitoring and documentation.
  • Current Texas RN license (active; temporary licenses are not accepted).
  • BLS certification required.
  • RCIS or RCES certification preferred.
  • Experience with EP scrub and vascular procedures is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with Meditech documentation system preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and adherence to dress code and personal presentation standards.

Schedule:

  • Days, 7 to 10-hour shifts.
  • Weekday and rotating weekend shifts.
  • Call requirements applicable.
  • Guaranteed 36 hours per week.
