Apply NowAn excellent opportunity is available for experienced professionals skilled in imaging as a Cardiac Cath Lab Invasive Technologist on a 17-week contract. In this role, you'll work within a dynamic Cath Lab, providing top-tier care through advanced imaging techniques.
Schedule/Hours:
- 7:00 am – 3:30 pm shifts
- Rotating on-call based on department requirements, including every third weekend
- Two additional weekday on-call assignments
Qualifications:
- Strong expertise in imaging, specifically as a Cath Lab Technologist
- Current certifications: BLS and ACLS required
- Valid RT(R) or RCIS credential
- Prior experience working in a high-volume cardiac catheterization environment
- Ability to remain composed and effective in acute clinical situations
- Excellent communication skills and commitment to safety and protocol compliance
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist physicians during cardiac catheterization procedures by operating diagnostic imaging equipment
- Prepare procedure rooms and ensure all required equipment and supplies are available and sterile
- Monitor patient vitals and document procedure details accurately
- Participate in regular on-call rotation and respond promptly to emergent needs
- Maintain equipment, troubleshoot malfunctions, and adhere to quality assurance standards
