An excellent opportunity is available for experienced professionals skilled in imaging as a Cardiac Cath Lab Invasive Technologist on a 17-week contract. In this role, you'll work within a dynamic Cath Lab, providing top-tier care through advanced imaging techniques.

Schedule/Hours:

  • 7:00 am – 3:30 pm shifts
  • Rotating on-call based on department requirements, including every third weekend
  • Two additional weekday on-call assignments

Qualifications:

  • Strong expertise in imaging, specifically as a Cath Lab Technologist
  • Current certifications: BLS and ACLS required
  • Valid RT(R) or RCIS credential
  • Prior experience working in a high-volume cardiac catheterization environment
  • Ability to remain composed and effective in acute clinical situations
  • Excellent communication skills and commitment to safety and protocol compliance

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist physicians during cardiac catheterization procedures by operating diagnostic imaging equipment
  • Prepare procedure rooms and ensure all required equipment and supplies are available and sterile
  • Monitor patient vitals and document procedure details accurately
  • Participate in regular on-call rotation and respond promptly to emergent needs
  • Maintain equipment, troubleshoot malfunctions, and adhere to quality assurance standards
