An experienced Cath Lab Technologist is needed for a contract assignment in a dynamic cardiac care unit. This position offers the opportunity to work alongside a dedicated team focused on delivering high-quality patient care in an advanced cardiovascular setting.

Schedule:

  • 17-week contract assignment
  • Day shift: 7:00am – 3:30pm
  • On-call rotation required: every third weekend
  • Additional on-call shifts: two weekdays per week

Qualifications:

  • Current certification in BLS and ACLS required
  • RT(R) or RCIS credential required
  • Experience as a Cath Lab Tech with strong understanding of imaging and invasive cardiac procedures
  • Ability to work well in high-pressure environments and adapt to changing priorities
  • Strong communication skills and the capacity to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and assist in cardiac catheterization procedures and other invasive cardiovascular procedures
  • Operate imaging equipment and support physicians during diagnostic and interventional procedures
  • Ensure patient safety protocols and radiation protection standards are consistently followed
  • Document patient care, procedure details, and equipment used during each case
  • Participate in unit-required on-call schedule
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and well-equipped procedure room
