This contract opportunity is ideal for a skilled professional specializing in imaging as a Cath Lab Technologist. The role is based in a cardiac catheterization laboratory and focuses on providing high-quality, invasive cardiovascular care alongside a multidisciplinary team.

Schedule/Hours:

  • 7:00 am – 3:30 pm
  • On-call rotation every other weekend and every third weekend
  • Additional on-call requirement for two weekdays each week

Qualifications:

  • Current certification as RT(R) or RCIS required
  • Valid BLS and ACLS certifications
  • Proven experience as a Cath Lab Tech with strong imaging skills
  • Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative healthcare environment

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare patients for cardiac catheterization procedures and monitor during exams
  • Operate imaging and monitoring equipment safely and accurately
  • Assist physicians throughout invasive cardiovascular procedures
  • Maintain sterile techniques and adhere to strict infection control protocols
  • Confirm accurate patient identification and documentation in compliance with hospital policies
  • Respond promptly and professionally while on call, providing expert coverage as needed
