A rewarding opportunity is available for a skilled professional to support a dynamic cardiac catheterization team. This contract-based role calls for an experienced technologist eager to contribute expertise in an advanced imaging environment.
Schedule/Hours:
- 17-week contract
- 7:00 am – 3:30 pm
- On-call rotation based on unit needs: every other weekend, every third, and two days during the week
Qualifications:
- Certification as RT(R) or RCIS required
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications necessary
- Demonstrated experience as a Cath Lab Technologist, with strong knowledge of cardiac catheterization procedures
- Competency in operating and troubleshooting cath lab imaging equipment
- Team-oriented, with excellent communication and patient care skills
Core Responsibilities:
- Prepare, assist, and provide technical support during cardiac catheterization and interventional procedures
- Operate imaging equipment and monitor patient status to ensure optimal outcomes
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and fellow technologists to deliver safe, high-quality care
- Maintain a sterile environment and adhere strictly to infection control guidelines
- Accurately document procedure details, equipment usage, and patient data
- Respond promptly to on-call duties during scheduled rotations, ensuring rapid and effective support for urgent cases
