Advance your career as a Cath Lab Technologist working in a dynamic cardiac catheterization lab environment. This contract role provides the opportunity to collaborate closely with a team of dedicated professionals, utilizing cutting-edge imaging technology for invasive procedures.
Schedule/Hours:
- 17-week assignment
- 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
- On-call rotation every other weekend and every third weekend
- Additional on-call two days during the week
Qualifications:
- Valid BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Must possess RT(R) or RCIS credential
- Previous experience in a Cath Lab setting with a focus on cardiovascular and interventional procedures
- Strong understanding of cath lab equipment, sterile technique, and radiation safety
- Excellent communication and ability to function well under pressure with multidisciplinary teams
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist physicians with invasive cardiac and peripheral procedures, including angioplasties and stent placements
- Operate, troubleshoot, and maintain imaging equipment specific to cath lab functions
- Monitor patient condition, respond promptly to changes, and uphold patient safety at all times
- Ensure accurate recording and documentation of procedure details
- Prepare and maintain sterile fields and supplies during procedures
- Participate in on-call responsibilities in alignment with unit needs
