Advance your career as a Cath Lab Technologist working in a dynamic cardiac catheterization lab environment. This contract role provides the opportunity to collaborate closely with a team of dedicated professionals, utilizing cutting-edge imaging technology for invasive procedures.

Schedule/Hours:

  • 17-week assignment
  • 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
  • On-call rotation every other weekend and every third weekend
  • Additional on-call two days during the week

Qualifications:

  • Valid BLS and ACLS certifications required
  • Must possess RT(R) or RCIS credential
  • Previous experience in a Cath Lab setting with a focus on cardiovascular and interventional procedures
  • Strong understanding of cath lab equipment, sterile technique, and radiation safety
  • Excellent communication and ability to function well under pressure with multidisciplinary teams

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist physicians with invasive cardiac and peripheral procedures, including angioplasties and stent placements
  • Operate, troubleshoot, and maintain imaging equipment specific to cath lab functions
  • Monitor patient condition, respond promptly to changes, and uphold patient safety at all times
  • Ensure accurate recording and documentation of procedure details
  • Prepare and maintain sterile fields and supplies during procedures
  • Participate in on-call responsibilities in alignment with unit needs
