An opportunity awaits for an experienced professional skilled in Cath Lab procedures to step into an important role in a dynamic cardiac catheterization lab setting. In this position, you will support invasive cardiac procedures while ensuring patient safety and collaborating with a multi-disciplinary team. This role offers a contract length of 17 weeks and is ideal for candidates with a strong background in Cath Lab imaging technology.
Schedule/Hours:
- 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
- On-call rotation based on unit needs: every third weekend
- On-call coverage for two weekdays in addition to regular hours
Qualifications:
- Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required
- RT(R) or RCIS credentials
- Proven experience in a Cardiac Cath Lab environment
- Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities
- Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced, procedure-driven setting
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist cardiovascular physicians during invasive procedures in the cardiac catheterization lab
- Provide high-quality imaging and diagnostic support during cardiac catheterizations and angiographic procedures
- Maintain and operate advanced imaging equipment according to protocols
- Ensure a safe, sterile field and support patient monitoring throughout procedures
- Collaborate with nursing staff, technologists, and other healthcare providers to deliver optimal care
- Manage and document procedural data with accuracy and attention to detail
