A professional opportunity is available for a skilled Cardiovascular Technologist specializing in Cardiac Cath Lab and EP Lab procedures. This contract position offers a chance to work in a dynamic cardiovascular setting requiring expertise in advanced imaging techniques and patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostic and interventional procedures in the Cardiac Catheterization and Electrophysiology Labs
- Prepare and maintain imaging equipment to ensure accurate and safe operation
- Collaborate with cardiologists and healthcare team members during procedures
- Monitor patients’ vital signs and respond promptly to changes during interventions
- Adhere to all radiation safety protocols and maintain documentation as required
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Registered Radiologic Technologist (ARRT-R)
- Certification as a NYS Department of Health Radiologic Technologist
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Cardiac Cath Lab or EP Lab environments
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred but not required
- Ability to work extended shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM; on-call availability preferred but optional
