Seeking an experienced healthcare professional with expertise in advanced imaging modalities to support a fast-paced cardiac and interventional radiology team. This contract role is ideal for individuals skilled in Cath Lab procedures, X-ray technology, and interventional radiology, and who thrive in collaborative clinical environments. Your contributions will be vital in providing high-quality patient care alongside physicians, nurses, and fellow technologists.
Qualifications:
- Certified or licensed as a Radiologic Technologist; credentialing in Cath Lab and IR highly preferred
- Proven clinical experience as a Cath Lab Tech, IR Tech, or Radiologic Technologist
- Proficient in operation of X-ray equipment, fluoroscopy, and related imaging technology
- Strong knowledge of sterile technique and safety standards
- Ability to interpret and follow physician orders accurately
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and operate imaging equipment to assist with diagnostic and interventional cardiac and vascular procedures
- Collaborate with physicians and nurses to provide imaging support during Cath Lab and IR interventions
- Perform pre-procedure patient screenings, positioning, and monitoring throughout procedures
- Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of procedures and patient records
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory guidelines related to imaging and radiation safety
- Assist with post-procedure patient care and equipment maintenance as assigned
