A skilled cath lab technologist is needed to support imaging procedures in a busy clinical environment. The primary responsibilities include operating imaging equipment during cardiac catheterizations and assisting physicians with diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures. This contract opportunity requires experience in a cath lab setting and the ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining a focus on patient care.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a Cath Lab Technologist is required
  • Proficiency in operating imaging equipment for cardiac catheterization procedures
  • Strong understanding of sterile technique and radiation safety protocols
  • Current certification in radiologic technology (ARRT or equivalent)
  • ACLS and BLS certifications preferred
  • High level of attention to detail and ability to follow precise instructions
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare, operate, and maintain cath lab imaging equipment
  • Assist physicians during a range of diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures
  • Monitor patient condition and report observations to the clinical team
  • Ensure accurate documentation of procedures and patient data
  • Adhere strictly to safety standards and infection control policies
  • Assist with room setup, equipment calibration, and troubleshooting
