Key Qualifications and Experience:
- Demonstrated experience as a Cath Lab Tech with expertise in both imaging and procedural assistance
- Proficiency in preparing, prepping, and supporting cardiac catheterizations, PCI (including STEMI cases), peripheral vascular interventions, pacemaker insertions, and interventional radiology procedures
- Strong ability to monitor, document, and calculate hemodynamic data accurately throughout procedures
- Ability to assess and manage vascular access sites and communicate findings to physicians promptly
- Familiarity with cath lab protocols, including on-call responsibilities
- Commitment to patient care and comfort pre-, intra-, and post-procedure
- Certification/registration as required by relevant state and national bodies
Schedule/Hours:
- On-call responsibilities required as per cath lab protocol
Primary Responsibilities:
- Prepare patients, rooms, and equipment for a range of diagnostic and interventional cardiac and vascular procedures
- Assist physicians during procedures, providing real-time procedural support and maintaining sterile technique
- Monitor patient status, hemodynamic measurements, and document precise procedural data
- Assess access sites and communicate critical changes or complications to medical staff
- Ensure proper post-procedural care and documentation
- Respond promptly to on-call and emergent procedure needs
