Qualifications:

• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program or equivalent
• ARRT or RCIS certification required
• Previous experience working as a Cath Lab Tech in a hospital or cardiac care setting
• Proficient in operating imaging equipment and performing diagnostic and interventional procedures
• Knowledgeable in sterile technique, radiation safety, and cardiovascular anatomy
• Strong communication, critical-thinking, and problem-solving skills
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and operate imaging and monitoring equipment for cardiac catheterizations and vascular studies
• Scrub, circulate, and assist physicians during diagnostic and interventional procedures
• Ensure strict adherence to aseptic technique and patient safety protocols
• Monitor patient status throughout procedures, reacting promptly to any changes
• Document procedure details and maintain accurate patient records
• Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and fellow technologists to deliver excellent patient care
• Maintain and troubleshoot cath lab equipment as needed
