Responsibilities:
- Operate imaging equipment during cardiac catheterization and interventional procedures
- Accurately position patients and utilize proper techniques to ensure diagnostic quality images
- Assist physicians during invasive cardiovascular procedures, maintaining strict adherence to sterile protocols
- Monitor patient vital signs and respond proactively to changes during procedures
- Prepare, calibrate, and maintain imaging and laboratory equipment according to safety standards
- Maintain precise records, including procedural documentation and inventory of supplies
- Participate in on-call rotation and collaborate effectively with the care team to ensure comprehensive patient care
Qualifications:
- ARRT or RCIS certification required
- Experience as a Cath Lab Technologist, with proficiency in advanced imaging within the cath lab
- In-depth understanding of cardiac and vascular anatomy and procedural protocols
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety
- Ability to remain calm and focused in high-pressure clinical scenarios
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
