Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Registered or certified Cath Lab Technologist with appropriate credentials
- Demonstrated experience working in a Cardiac Catheterization Lab or similar environment
- Proficiency in operating cath lab imaging equipment and related technology
- Strong understanding of sterile technique and radiation safety practices
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and adapt to fast-paced environments
- Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with physicians, nurses, and fellow technologists
- Current CPR and BLS certification
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist physicians with interventional and diagnostic cardiac procedures, ensuring patient safety throughout
- Operate fluoroscopy and other imaging systems for precise visualization during cases
- Prepare, calibrate, and maintain all equipment as per protocols
- Manage patient records and documentation related to each procedure
- Monitor patients’ conditions and communicate concerns or changes to the care team
- Maintain cleanliness and integrity of the procedural area, adhering to infection control standards
- Support inventory management and ensure readiness of supplies for upcoming cases
