Healthcare professionals with a background in advanced imaging technology are invited to contribute their expertise in a vital Cath Lab setting. This is a contract opportunity designed for candidates experienced in supporting complex cardiovascular procedures alongside an accomplished clinical team.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Registered or certified Cath Lab Technologist with appropriate credentials
  • Demonstrated experience working in a Cardiac Catheterization Lab or similar environment
  • Proficiency in operating cath lab imaging equipment and related technology
  • Strong understanding of sterile technique and radiation safety practices
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure and adapt to fast-paced environments
  • Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with physicians, nurses, and fellow technologists
  • Current CPR and BLS certification

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist physicians with interventional and diagnostic cardiac procedures, ensuring patient safety throughout
  • Operate fluoroscopy and other imaging systems for precise visualization during cases
  • Prepare, calibrate, and maintain all equipment as per protocols
  • Manage patient records and documentation related to each procedure
  • Monitor patients’ conditions and communicate concerns or changes to the care team
  • Maintain cleanliness and integrity of the procedural area, adhering to infection control standards
  • Support inventory management and ensure readiness of supplies for upcoming cases
