Qualifications & Experience:

• Certification as a Cath Lab Tech (RCIS or equivalent credential preferred)
• Demonstrated experience working in a cardiac catheterization lab setting
• Proficient in operating complex imaging equipment and monitoring patient vitals during procedures
• Strong understanding of cardiac anatomy, interventional technology, and sterile technique
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other medical professionals

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and maintain the cath lab for diagnostic and interventional procedures
• Assist physicians during cardiac catheterizations, angioplasties, stent placements, and other related procedures
• Operate fluoroscopy and other imaging equipment to ensure high-quality diagnostic images
• Monitor and record patient status throughout procedures, promptly responding to any changes or emergencies
• Maintain strict adherence to infection control practices and laboratory safety protocols
• Document all procedures accurately and ensure proper maintenance of patient records
• Participate in ongoing quality improvement and continuing education initiatives
