Key Qualifications:
- Certification as a Cath Lab Technologist or Radiologic Technologist with Cath Lab specialization
- Prior hands-on experience in a catheterization laboratory
- Demonstrated proficiency with imaging equipment and sterile technique
- Knowledge of cardiac anatomy, EKG interpretation, and contrast media
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, supporting effective care delivery
- Current BLS/ACLS certification
Responsibilities:
- Operate imaging and radiologic equipment during cardiac catheterization and electrophysiology procedures
- Monitor patients’ vital signs before, during, and after procedures, ensuring safety and comfort
- Ensure accurate patient documentation and timely communication with the clinical team
- Maintain strict adherence to infection control and safety protocols
- Assist physicians with device preparation, insertion, and other interventional tasks
- Support post-procedural patient assessments and contribute to ongoing quality improvement efforts
