Key Qualifications:

  • Certification as a Cath Lab Technologist or Radiologic Technologist with Cath Lab specialization
  • Prior hands-on experience in a catheterization laboratory
  • Demonstrated proficiency with imaging equipment and sterile technique
  • Knowledge of cardiac anatomy, EKG interpretation, and contrast media
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, supporting effective care delivery
  • Current BLS/ACLS certification

Responsibilities:

  • Operate imaging and radiologic equipment during cardiac catheterization and electrophysiology procedures
  • Monitor patients’ vital signs before, during, and after procedures, ensuring safety and comfort
  • Ensure accurate patient documentation and timely communication with the clinical team
  • Maintain strict adherence to infection control and safety protocols
  • Assist physicians with device preparation, insertion, and other interventional tasks
  • Support post-procedural patient assessments and contribute to ongoing quality improvement efforts
