Key Qualifications:
- ARRT or RCIS certification required
- Demonstrated experience as a Cath Lab Technologist, including knowledge of cardiovascular imaging and interventional procedures
- Proficient in operating imaging equipment and assisting with cardiac catheterization procedures
- Strong understanding of sterile techniques and radiation safety measures
- Ability to monitor patient vital signs and collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary care team
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assist physicians with complex cardiac catheterization procedures, including preparation of the lab and necessary equipment
- Operate fluoroscopy and other specialized imaging equipment during diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures
- Adhere to strict protocols for infection control and patient safety at all times
- Document patient information and procedural details accurately in accordance with facility standards
- Monitor patient status before, during, and after procedures, responding promptly to changes or complications
- Manage inventory of supplies and assist with restocking and equipment maintenance
