Experienced professionals with strong Cath Lab skills are needed for a contract opportunity in a dynamic healthcare setting. This position is ideal for individuals with a background in imaging, specifically as a Cath Lab Tech, possessing the dedication and expertise needed to deliver exceptional patient care.

Schedule:

  • 3x12 hour shifts
  • Day shifts

Requirements:

  • Graduate of an approved School of Radiology
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred
  • Active Illinois Department of Nuclear Safety license
  • American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification
  • Minimum of one year patient care experience
  • Completion of radiation safety training within 90 days of employment
  • Strong knowledge of Cath Lab operations, imaging protocols, and radiation safety standards

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform high-quality imaging procedures in the Cath Lab while adhering to safety and privacy regulations
  • Ensure accurate documentation and maintain patient records in compliance with best practices
  • Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and other health professionals to deliver seamless patient care
  • Support patient preparation, monitoring, and post-procedure recovery as needed
  • Operate imaging equipment efficiently and assist in troubleshooting technical issues
  • Maintain clean and organized working areas, ensuring all infection control and safety guidelines are met

Compensation:

  • Competitive pay at $109.25 per hour after fees, reflecting experience and commitment
