Key Qualifications:

  • Certification or registry as a Cath Lab Technologist (ARRT, RCIS, or equivalent)
  • Demonstrated proficiency in operating cath lab imaging equipment
  • In-depth knowledge of sterile technique and cardiovascular anatomy
  • Experience assisting with diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures
  • Solid understanding of radiation safety protocols
  • Ability to respond swiftly in critical situations and remain composed under pressure
  • Strong communication and team collaboration skills

Schedule/Hours:

Core Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and maintain a sterile field for all cath lab procedures
  • Operate and monitor specialized imaging equipment, ensuring precise visualization
  • Assist cardiologists during angiograms, stent placements, and other interventional procedures
  • Document patient data accurately, maintaining compliance with all regulatory standards
  • Monitor patient condition before, during, and after procedures, reporting changes to the healthcare team
