Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain specialized imaging equipment for cardiac catheterization procedures
- Assist physicians during invasive and diagnostic cardiovascular procedures, ensuring strict adherence to sterility and safety protocols
- Prepare patients for procedures, including positioning, education, and monitoring throughout the process
- Monitor hemodynamic data and document findings accurately in the medical record system
- Collaborate with nursing staff, cardiologists, and other healthcare professionals for seamless case flow
- Respond swiftly to emergent clinical situations within the Cath Lab setting
- Maintain equipment quality control and participate in departmental quality improvement initiatives
Preferred Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Cath Lab Technologist (imaging or related discipline)
- Valid certification as a Cath Lab Tech or equivalent, based on state and national regulations
- Strong understanding of cardiovascular anatomy, imaging techniques, and sterile practices
