Key Qualifications:

  • Current certification as a Cath Lab Technologist (RCIS preferred or equivalent certification)
  • Proven experience operating advanced cath lab imaging equipment and monitoring vital signs during procedures
  • Strong clinical knowledge of cardiovascular anatomy, procedures, and sterile techniques
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure while maintaining attention to safety and detail
  • Up-to-date Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with patients and multidisciplinary teams

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and operate imaging equipment for cardiac catheterization, angioplasty, and related diagnostic or interventional procedures
  • Collaborate with physicians and nurses to ensure appropriate patient care before, during, and after procedures
  • Assist in the monitoring, documentation, and maintenance of patient records and imaging results
  • Adhere to all infection control and safety protocols throughout every step of the process
  • Participate actively in lab workflow, quality assurance programs, and equipment maintenance to support efficient operations
  • Educate patients and their families on procedures to provide reassurance and informed care
