An exciting opportunity awaits skilled Cath Lab Technologists seeking contract work in a dynamic hospital environment. This position is ideal for those with extensive experience in coronary and peripheral procedures, eager to make a meaningful impact within a renowned teaching hospital and Level II Trauma Center.
Schedule Details:
- Day/night rotations: 4 weeks of 10-hour day shifts, 2 weeks of 12-hour night shifts within a 6-week period.
- On-call: 1–2 weekdays (1630–0600) and one weekend every 4th week (1630 Friday – 0600 Monday).
- Weekend rotation: every 4th weekend.
- Holiday coverage may be required; please indicate availability.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years’ Cath Lab experience, including coronary, structural heart, complex PCI, and peripheral procedures.
- Certification: BLS, ACLS, and RT or equivalent, or RCIS required.
- Associate’s degree in Applied Sciences (AA/AAS) required.
- Proficient with EPIC; familiarity with Epic Cupid preferred.
- Experience with arrhythmia recognition/treatment, critical patient assessment, and performing table movement (panning).
- Must reside at least 100 miles from the facility; permanent staff must wait 1 year before returning as a traveler.
- No first-time travelers will be considered.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct diagnostic and interventional Cath Lab procedures for diverse patient populations (coronary artery disease, STEMI, valvular disease, limb salvage, LVAD insertions, and more).
- Perform thorough patient assessments and respond promptly to critical events.
- Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary teams to deliver optimal patient care within 2 Cath labs and 2 hybrid peripheral/OR suites.
- Participate in hospital’s teaching and Magnet journey initiatives.
- Adhere to weekend and holiday call schedules as assigned.

$3,225 - $3,400/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
