Cath Lab Technologist - Piedmont, SD

Take on an integral role in a well-equipped, rapidly advancing hospital setting as an experienced Cath Lab Tech. This contract opportunity calls for a highly skilled technologist with proven expertise in coronary and complex PCI procedures, ready to make an immediate impact in a Level II Trauma and Teaching facility.

Schedule:

• Assignment duration: contract
• Day/night rotation: 4 weeks of 10-hour days, 2 weeks of 12-hour nights per 6-week period
• Weekend rotation: every 4th weekend
• On-call: 1-2 days per week from 4:30 PM to 6:00 AM, plus every 4th weekend (Friday 4:30 PM to Monday 6:00 AM)
• Orientation: 4 days (10-hour shifts)
• Holiday rotation may apply

Qualifications and Experience:

• Minimum two years of recent experience in a Cath Lab, including coronary, structural heart, complex PCI, and peripheral procedures (no exceptions)
• Must hold current BLS, ACLS, and either RT or RCIS credentials
• AA/AAS degree required
• Proficient in arrhythmia recognition and treatment, critical patient assessment, and table movement (panning)
• Must be able to efficiently utilize the EPIC charting system; Epic Cupid experience preferred
• Not accepting first-time travelers; must live at least 100 miles from facility

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with advanced cardiac and peripheral procedures: diagnostic caths, valvular interventions, LVAD/Impella insertion, limb salvage, and more
• Monitor patients with complex cardiovascular conditions including STEMI, cardiogenic shock, occlusions, and thrombosis
• Deliver comprehensive technical and patient support within a collaborative unit (no floating to IR)
• Follow established protocols in a Magnet journey, chest pain, and primary stroke center environment

$3,225 - $3,400/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
