Qualifications and Experience:

• Certified Cath Lab Technologist (RCIS or equivalent national certification preferred)
• Comprehensive understanding of imaging and interventional procedures within the cath lab
• Minimum of one year of recent experience in a hospital cath lab setting
• Proficiency in operating imaging equipment, monitoring patients, and assisting with diagnostic and therapeutic interventions
• Current BLS and ACLS certification
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to thrive under pressure and maintain attention to detail in urgent situations

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and maintain the cath lab suite, ensuring all necessary equipment and supplies are ready before procedures
• Assist physicians during cardiac catheterizations, angioplasties, stent placements, and other cardiovascular interventions
• Operate and monitor advanced imaging systems to obtain high-quality diagnostic images
• Safeguard patient safety by adhering to protocol and using radiation protection measures
• Accurately document procedural details, patient observations, and interventions in real time
• Collaborate with nurses, radiologic technologists, and physicians to provide coordinated, high-quality patient care
• Participate in ongoing quality improvement, equipment checks, and inventory management
