Cath Lab Technologist in Pompano Beach, FL

A unique contract opportunity is available for a skilled Cath Lab Technologist with expertise in imaging procedures. Schedule:

• 4x10 hour shifts each week
• Includes some on-call responsibilities

Qualifications:

• Certification as a Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) required
• Demonstrated experience as a Cath Lab Technologist
• Proficiency in imaging protocols within the Cath Lab setting
• Strong understanding of sterile technique and patient safety standards
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with multidisciplinary teams
• Ability to respond effectively under pressure and in emergent situations
• Must not reside in Broward, Dade, or Palm Beach counties

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist physicians with cardiac catheterization procedures and other interventional tasks
• Operate and maintain imaging and monitoring equipment used during procedures
• Prepare and position patients, ensuring comfort and adherence to safety protocols
• Document procedures accurately, maintaining confidentiality and compliance with regulatory standards
• Monitor patient status, report changes, and assist in emergencies as needed
• Support inventory control by preparing equipment and supplies for each procedure
• Participate in on-call rotations as assigned
