Deliver exceptional patient care as part of a dynamic cardiovascular imaging team. This contract opportunity emphasizes your expertise as a Cath Lab Tech, working directly with skilled professionals in a high-acuity environment.

Qualifications:

  • Current certification as a Cath Lab Technologist (RCIS or equivalent preferred)
  • Minimum of one year recent experience in a Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory setting
  • Proficient in imaging and assisting with diagnostic, interventional, and therapeutic procedures
  • Strong knowledge of vascular anatomy, sterile technique, and catheterization lab protocols
  • Ability to monitor patient status, recognize urgent situations, and respond appropriately
  • Communicates effectively within a multidisciplinary team
  • BLS and ACLS certifications required

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and maintain Cath Lab equipment, ensuring readiness for various procedures
  • Assist interventional cardiologists and radiologists during catheterizations, angioplasties, and stent placements
  • Operate imaging systems to acquire quality diagnostic images
  • Accurately document all procedures and patient information within hospital systems
  • Maintain a sterile field and adhere to infection control protocols
  • Provide pre- and post-procedure care, including patient education and monitoring
  • Troubleshoot any technical issues with imaging or monitoring equipment during procedures
  • Contribute to efficient workflow by anticipating procedural needs and collaborating closely with peers
