Cardiac Cath Lab Tech - Poughkeepsie, New York

An opportunity is available for an experienced Cardiovascular Technologist specializing in Cardiac Cath Lab and EP Lab procedures. This contract position offers an engaging work schedule with a day shift from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM and on-call duties preferred but optional, located in Poughkeepsie, NY.

Qualifications:

• ARRT (R) certification required
• New York State Department of Health Radiologic Technologist licensure
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in Cardiac Cath Lab and EP Lab environments
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred

Responsibilities:

• Perform diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures within the Cath Lab and EP Lab
• Prepare and maintain imaging equipment in accordance with safety and procedural standards
• Collaborate with cardiologists and healthcare team to provide top-quality patient care
• Monitor patient conditions during procedures and assist in emergency response if necessary
• Maintain documentation and compliance with regulatory guidelines
