Step into a vital imaging role supporting an advanced cardiac and interventional team as a Cath Lab Tech. This contract position calls for specialized expertise in a dynamic, patient-centered environment equipped with the latest technology and staffed by professionals committed to excellence.

Schedule:

  • Shifts: Five 8-hour days per week (06:45 – 15:15)
  • Weekend coverage: Every other weekend
  • Call: Up to three times weekly with every other weekend call; rapid 30-minute call response required

Qualifications:

  • Current certifications in ACLS, BLS, ARRT(R), and LSRTBE state license (temporary license accepted if obtained within 14 days; must apply within 48 hours of accepting the offer)
  • Minimum of two years’ experience in a Cath Lab (no first-assignment travelers)
  • Demonstrated ability with embolization, coiling, ablations, and implants (ports, pacemakers, ICDs)
  • Strong familiarity with devices such as Impella, IABP, IVUS, Shockwave, Rotoblator, laser, and thrombectomy platforms
  • Proven competence in STEMI care, targeting FTB/DTB times under 60 minutes
  • Skill in both peripheral and electrophysiology procedures
  • Ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively with a high degree of initiative

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform and assist with a variety of cardiac, vascular, interventional radiology, electrophysiology, and peripheral procedures
  • Leverage advanced equipment (including Siemens, Cannon, Medrad/Acist injectors, and more) to deliver exceptional care
  • Utilize EPIC EMR with Cupid documentation for efficient patient record management
  • Respond to emergency needs, including potential assignment to an Emergency Relief Team as directed in accordance with facility protocols
