Cath Lab Technologist in Prairieville, LA

This contract opportunity is designed for skilled professionals who are confident working with cutting-edge imaging technology and cardiac procedures in a collaborative, patient-centered team.

Schedule:

• Day shifts: 5x8-hour (06:45 – 15:15)
• 5 days per week coverage, schedule may flex based on department staffing
• Every other weekend coverage required
• Call responsibilities: Up to 3 times per week and every other weekend; response time within 30 minutes

Qualifications:

• Active certifications: ACLS, BLS, ARRT(R), and LSRTBE state license (temporary license requires timely application)
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a Cath Lab (no first-time travelers)
• Expertise in embolization, coiling, ablation, implant procedures (ports, pacemakers, ICDs)
• Skilled with Impella, IABP, IVUS, Shockwave, Rotoblator, laser, and thrombectomy devices
• Background in STEMI care, including FTB/DTB < 60 minutes
• Proficient in peripheral and EP procedures
• Ability to confidently perform all CCL procedures independently

Responsibilities:

• Deliver safe, efficient care across a diverse cardiac, vascular, EP, and IR caseload (average census: 6 daily)
• Support code STEMI interventions in a high-performing, streamlined environment
• Collaborate with colleagues, contribute to a culture of learning, and prioritize patient-first care
• Ensure timely response for call coverage and maintain flexibility for emergency team assignments as needed
