Qualifications and Experience:

  • Certification as a Cath Lab Technologist or equivalent in medical imaging
  • Demonstrated proficiency in imaging procedures specific to the cardiac catheterization lab
  • Experience with diagnostic and interventional cath lab equipment and technology
  • Knowledge of sterile techniques, radiation safety, and patient monitoring protocols
  • Current BLS and ACLS certifications preferred
  • Strong teamwork skills, attention to detail, and commitment to patient care excellence

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate and maintain imaging equipment used during cardiac catheterization and related vascular procedures
  • Assist physicians and clinical teams by preparing patients and ensuring safe, efficient workflows throughout each study
  • Accurately document patient information, imaging data, and procedural steps
  • Monitor patient vital signs and provide support during procedures, responding rapidly to any emergent situations
  • Adhere to established protocols for infection control, equipment sterilization, and radiation protection
  • Maintain a collaborative environment by communicating effectively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals

$3,146 - $3,328/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
