Qualifications and Experience:

• Certification as a Cath Lab Technologist or equivalent required
• Previous work experience in a cath lab or imaging department
• Strong understanding of cardiac procedures, medical terminology, and safety protocols
• Proficiency with imaging equipment, radiation safety, and sterile techniques
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Compliance with state and national regulatory standards
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications preferred

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist physicians with diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures
• Operate imaging and monitoring equipment with precision during catheterization
• Prepare and maintain supplies, instruments, and the sterile field
• Monitor patient vital signs and document procedural details meticulously
• Ensure patient safety by adhering to radiation protection guidelines
• Support patient education before, during, and after procedures
• Participate in on-call rotations as determined by department need
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver optimal patient outcomes
