Key Qualifications:

  • Valid credentials or certification as a Cath Lab Technologist
  • Proficient in operating imaging equipment specific to cardiac catheterization procedures
  • Experience with set-up, operation, and troubleshooting of various cath lab systems and related technology
  • Solid knowledge of sterile techniques, radiation safety, and patient positioning
  • Ability to respond rapidly under pressure and assist with emergent procedures
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with physicians, nurses, and allied team members
  • Previous cath lab or interventional radiology experience a plus

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Prepare, calibrate, and operate imaging equipment for real-time visualization of cardiac anatomy and function
  • Assist physicians during diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterizations
  • Monitor and record patient vitals, hemodynamic data, and procedural findings
  • Ensure equipment sterility, safety, and proper function throughout procedures
  • Manage supplies, document activities, and support patient care pre-, intra-, and post-procedure
  • Uphold all facility protocols, infection control measures, and regulatory standards
