Cath Lab Technologist in Rochester, IL

Schedule:

• 3x12 hour shifts, days

Minimum Qualifications:

• Graduate of an approved School of Radiology
• Current BLS certification; ACLS preferred
• Valid Illinois Department of Nuclear Safety license
• American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certificate required
• At least one year of direct patient care experience
• Must complete radiation safety classes within 90 days of employment

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate advanced imaging equipment in the cardiac catheterization lab to assist physicians with diagnostic and interventional procedures
• Monitor patients and equipment during procedures, ensuring the highest levels of safety and care
• Work collaboratively with physicians, nurses, and other technologists throughout procedures
• Manage and maintain accurate patient records and procedural documentation
• Adhere strictly to established radiation safety protocols and infection control guidelines
• Support overall workflow and patient throughput with professionalism and attention to detail
