Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Valid certification as a Cath Lab Technologist or equivalent credential.
• Proficiency with imaging technology and equipment specific to catheterization labs.
• Demonstrated experience with assisting physicians during diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures.
• Strong understanding of sterile techniques, radiation safety, and cardiovascular anatomy.
• Exceptional troubleshooting and critical-thinking skills in an acute care setting.
• Ability to maintain accurate documentation and follow procedural protocols.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS); Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare, operate, and maintain imaging and monitoring equipment during cardiac catheterization procedures.
• Assist with patient preparation, education, and monitoring before, during, and after procedures.
• Collaborate closely with physicians and nursing staff to ensure optimal workflow and positive patient outcomes.
• Maintain sterile fields and oversee radiation safety measures in all procedural areas.
• Document all aspects of patient care and procedures accurately and in a timely manner.
• Participate in quality assurance and equipment maintenance activities as needed.
