Key Qualifications and Experience:

  • Certification or registry as a Cath Lab Technologist (RCIS or ARRT preferred)
  • Proven experience operating imaging equipment in a cardiac catheterization setting
  • Comprehensive knowledge of invasive cardiovascular procedures, sterile technique, and patient monitoring
  • Proficiency in assisting with angiograms, angioplasties, stent placements, and other cath lab procedures
  • Ability to respond swiftly and accurately in urgent situations
  • Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with physicians, RNs, and other allied health staff
  • Current BLS and ACLS certifications

Schedule:

  • Facility scheduling details will be discussed during the interview process to accommodate shift preferences and coverage needs.

Responsibilities:

  • Set up and calibrate imaging equipment for catheterization and interventional cardiology procedures
  • Provide technical support to physicians during invasive cardiac and peripheral vascular procedures
  • Monitor patient vitals and document all procedural details accurately
  • Maintain strict adherence to infection control, radiation safety, and patient privacy protocols
  • Ensure all supplies and equipment are ready and functioning for each case
