A specialized role is available for an experienced Imaging Cath Lab Technician ready to provide expertise in a dynamic cardiac care environment. This travel opportunity places you in a well-established joint commission-accredited hospital known for comprehensive services including cancer care, orthopedics, surgical services, and advanced imaging.

Location: Situated in a vibrant area approximately 45 miles east of Raleigh, this region offers a unique blend of small-town charm and access to larger metropolitan amenities. Within an hour’s drive, you can explore major universities such as Duke, NC State, UNC Chapel Hill, and East Carolina University. Enjoy leisure time at nearby Lake Wilson or experience local culture at the historic Fleming Stadium.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform and assist with cath lab imaging procedures ensuring patient safety and quality care.
  • Collaborate closely with cardiologists, nurses, and support staff during diagnostic and interventional procedures.
  • Maintain imaging equipment and ensure compliance with hospital protocols and regulatory standards.
  • Document and report all procedures accurately in the patient’s medical records.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience as a Cath Lab Technician, preferably with Meditech system knowledge.
  • Strong understanding of imaging techniques and cardiac care protocols.
  • Ability to function in a high-paced, patient-focused environment.
  • Certification and licensure in accordance with state and industry requirements.

Additional Information:

  • Orientation occurs bi-weekly, with upcoming dates on 4/13, 4/27, and 5/11.
  • This is a travel assignment requiring a minimum of 60 miles distance for eligibility.
  • Candidates will enjoy a stimulating professional setting serving a 294-bed hospital with diverse clinical specialties.
