Within this dynamic Cath Lab, specialists gain hands-on exposure in a premier department, working alongside dedicated leaders and an interdisciplinary team. This role enables you to expand your technical capabilities, learn advanced techniques, and collaborate with top Cardiologists, all while building a standout resume through exposure to diverse protocols and leadership approaches.
Schedule/Hours:
- Monday through Friday, 7:30 am–4:00 pm, plus call
- Team lead posts schedules 17 days in advance, covering six-week periods
- Weeknight call: 1–2 days/week (3:30 pm–7:00 am)
- Weekend call: every third weekend (Friday–Monday, 24hr)
- Holiday call: every other holiday
- 20-minute call response time
Qualifications:
- Active BLS and RCIS or ARRT certification (ARRT must be registered with NDMIRT if applying that credential)
- Radiation badge required before start
- Experience in Cath Lab—panning and/or scrubbing (core duties lean toward panning)
- Skills with IABP, Impella, Shockwave (preferred), Laser, IFR/FFR, IVUS, Rotapro, 4 port manifold
- Preferred: IV start experience
- Familiarity with EPIC & Philips Xper, Siemens C-Arm, and more
Responsibilities:
- Scrubbing in and/or panning for interventional procedures
- Initiating IVs as needed
- Supporting Emergent Revascularization, diagnostic/interventional cases, device placements, and more
- Floating to Heart and Vascular Pre/Post as a helping hand
- Adhering to safety, security, and dress code policies
