Desired Qualifications & Experience
- Certification as a Cath Lab Technologist or Radiologic Technologist with cath lab experience
- ARRT or equivalent accreditation required
- Proven experience working in a cardiac catheterization laboratory
- In-depth understanding of imaging equipment used in interventional cardiovascular procedures
- Current BLS certification; advanced certifications (ACLS) preferred
- Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced setting
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and assist in diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures, ensuring patient safety and compliance with protocols
- Operate and maintain advanced imaging equipment, ensuring high-quality images for physicians
- Monitor patient status throughout procedures, promptly communicating changes to the medical team
- Document procedures and maintain accurate patient records in accordance with regulations
- Participate in emergency response efforts as needed during cath lab procedures
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, and support staff to optimize patient outcomes
