Qualifications:

  • Associate’s degree or higher in radiologic technology or related field
  • Current ARRT certification and state licensure (if applicable)
  • BLS/ACLS certification required
  • Minimum of one year recent experience in a hospital Cath Lab setting
  • Proficient operation of imaging equipment, including fluoroscopy and X-ray
  • Excellent communication, critical thinking, and patient care skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform diagnostic and interventional imaging procedures for cardiac catheterizations
  • Assist physicians and other staff during cardiac and vascular procedures
  • Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout procedures and recovery
  • Prepare and maintain imaging equipment, ensuring optimal performance and compliance with safety standards
  • Accurately document all procedures and patient information
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and technologists to promote best practices
