Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist - Shawnee, Kansas

Qualifications and Experience:

• Current certification as a Cath Lab Tech (RCIS or ARRT preferred)
• Previous experience working in a Cath Lab environment
• Strong understanding of invasive cardiology procedures and imaging protocols
• Proficient with imaging equipment and sterile techniques
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required; ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) preferred
• Excellent communication and organizational skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and operate imaging and monitoring equipment for diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures
• Assist physicians with cardiac catheterizations, angioplasties, and stent placements
• Ensure strict adherence to sterile procedures and safety protocols at all times
• Document patient data, monitor vital signs, and maintain accurate records during procedures
• Support the team in emergency situations and ensure all equipment is maintained and ready for use
• Educate patients about procedures and provide pre- and post-procedure care as needed
