An opportunity is available for an experienced Cath Lab Technologist with strong imaging skills. This contract position involves supporting a dynamic cardiac catheterization laboratory team, providing top-quality care and technical proficiency to patients undergoing a range of diagnostic and interventional heart procedures.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Previous experience working as a Cath Lab Technologist, with strong imaging skills
  • Completion of an accredited radiologic technologist or cardiovascular technologist program
  • Valid professional certification (ARRT, RCIS, or equivalent)
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications
  • Proficiency in operating and troubleshooting cath lab imaging and recording equipment
  • Excellent understanding of cath lab protocols and sterile technique
  • Ability to work efficiently in urgent and routine settings
  • Strong communication skills and attention to detail

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and assist physicians during cardiac catheterization procedures, including diagnostic and interventional cases
  • Operate and maintain imaging, monitoring, and specialized cath lab equipment
  • Ensure patient safety through continuous observation and strict adherence to procedures
  • Prepare and position patients for procedures; monitor vital signs throughout
  • Keep detailed, accurate procedure and patient records
  • Maintain a clean and organized procedure room, following strict infection control standards
  • Restock supplies and assist in team training as needed
