Cath Lab Technologist in Sherman, IL

Schedule:

• 3x12-hour shifts
• Day shift hours

Minimum Qualifications:

• Graduate of an approved School of Radiology
• Current BLS certification required; ACLS certification preferred
• Active Illinois Department of Nuclear Safety license
• Certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
• At least one year of patient care experience in a clinical setting
• Completion of radiation safety coursework within 90 days of hire

Primary Responsibilities:

• Prepare and operate imaging equipment for cardiac catheterization procedures
• Collaborate with physicians and nursing staff to ensure accuracy and safety throughout diagnostics and interventions
• Monitor patient vital signs and status during procedures, responding swiftly to changes as needed
• Adhere strictly to radiation safety guidelines and hospital protocols
• Accurately document records and contribute to quality assurance programs
• Support patients before, during, and after their procedures to enhance comfort and understanding
