Cath Lab Technologist - Sherman, IL

Key Qualifications & Experience:

• Registered or licensed Cath Lab Technologist
• Demonstrated expertise in invasive cardiovascular procedures and imaging technology
• Proficiency in operating and troubleshooting imaging equipment specific to the Cath Lab
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Strong understanding of radiation safety, sterile technique, and patient care best practices
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Previous experience in a Cath Lab or comparable diagnostic environment preferred

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and calibrate imaging equipment for a variety of cardiac procedures
• Assist physicians during diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterizations
• Monitor patients’ condition and document vital statistics before, during, and after procedures
• Ensure adherence to all safety and infection control protocols
• Accurately capture, process, and archive high-quality images
• Maintain detailed, timely procedure records in compliance with regulatory and facility standards
• Support inventory management for Cath Lab supplies and equipment
• Deliver professional and compassionate patient care at every stage
