Key Qualifications:

  • Current certification from an accredited program in radiologic technology or cardiovascular technology
  • Registered or registry-eligible as a Cath Lab Technologist
  • Strong knowledge of imaging equipment and sterile technique in a cath lab environment
  • Previous experience assisting with cardiac catheterizations, angiographies, and stent placements
  • BLS and ACLS certifications (current and valid)
  • Excellent communication and critical thinking skills
  • Attention to detail and ability to remain calm under pressure

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and maintain cath lab equipment and supplies for procedures
  • Assist cardiologists and team members during diagnostic and interventional cases
  • Monitor patient vital signs and document procedural activities accurately
  • Operate imaging technology to support effective visualization for physicians
  • Maintain aseptic technique and comply with safety protocols at all times
  • Keep organized, detailed records of all procedures and ensure timely patient flow
  • Provide support and reassurance to patients before, during, and after their procedures
