In this contract position, you will work alongside skilled professionals, utilizing advanced imaging technology to support critical diagnostic and interventional procedures. Your expertise in radiology and patient care will be key to delivering exceptional outcomes.
Schedule:
- 3x12 hour day shifts
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an approved School of Radiology
- Active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (Advanced Cardiac Life Support preferred)
- Current Illinois Department of Nuclear Safety license
- Certificate from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists
- At least one year of patient care experience
- Willingness to complete radiation safety training within 90 days of hire
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate catheterization laboratory imaging equipment during procedures
- Prepare and maintain sterile environments for interventional cases
- Assist physicians with diagnostic and therapeutic interventions
- Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout all procedures
- Document all procedures, findings, and patient interactions accurately
- Apply critical thinking to rapidly adjust in urgent situations
