Qualifications and Experience:

  • Proven experience as a Cath Lab Tech, with proficiency in operating imaging equipment for cardiac procedures
  • Current ARRT (Radiologic Technologist) certification or RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) credential preferred
  • Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; ACLS a plus
  • Clear understanding of sterile techniques and radiation safety protocols
  • Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently under pressure
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate effectively with cardiologists, nurses, and support staff

Schedule:

  • Contract assignment; schedule specifics provided during the interview process

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and operate specialized imaging equipment during cardiac catheterizations, angiograms, and interventional procedures
  • Assist physicians with real-time imaging support, ensuring high-quality diagnostic results
  • Maintain catheterization suite cleanliness, equipment calibration, and regulatory compliance
  • Monitor patients during procedures, observing for changes in status and assisting with emergent interventions when needed
  • Document procedure details accurately in accordance with facility guidelines
  • Participate in post-procedure care, including room turnover and equipment sterilization
