Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist | Torrance, California

Advance your healthcare career by utilizing your expertise in imaging as a Cath Lab Technologist in a dynamic contract opportunity. This 13-week assignment is ideal for professionals ready to deliver exceptional care and technical support in a high-acuity environment. You’ll work alongside a dedicated team supporting complex cardiac and interventional radiology procedures.

Schedule/Hours:

• Variable shifts: 7:00am–5:30pm, 8:00am–6:30pm, or 9:00am–7:30pm
• After-hours and every other weekend call required
• Two weeknights of on-call coverage each week (details clarified during interview)

Qualifications:

• Current BLS certification
• ARRT credentialing required
• Active CA Fluoro License
• At least three years of experience as a Cath Lab Tech
• Proven experience in a cardiac catheterization lab (Cath Lab)
• Experience with interventional radiology (IR) tech duties highly beneficial
• Strong clinical judgement and adaptability within a fast-paced setting

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist physicians during diagnostic and interventional cardiac and radiology procedures
• Operate and maintain sophisticated imaging equipment for Cath Lab and IR cases
• Monitor patient safety and comfort throughout all procedures
• Adhere to all regulatory and hospital safety standards
• Accurately document procedures and update records in a timely fashion
• Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes

$3,146 - $3,328/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
